Our little branch of the church here in Albany has some wonderful people. One of them is a young man who was born with some handicaps. The first time we met him, he went out of his way to say hello and he told us that he is the teacher's quorum president. He is always here early on Sundays, helping get the sacrament ready and preparing the chapel. He is legally blind and has to have his face right next to a book if he wants to read something. We received the recordings of conference We went to the branch president's home to watch Priesthood and have dinner and this young man was there ready to listen to conference priesthood session. During the conferenc I looked over at him and he had one of those monoculars and was watching every minute with one eye on the speaker. I was inspired by his dedication and committment. During our meetings, he puts his face right up next to the hymn book and sings the best that he can.
We are learning much from these good people.
